The Missing Painting

Hard

A framed artwork disappeared from a private hallway.

Rule: exactly one suspect is guilty. The guilty suspect lies. Every innocent suspect tells the truth.
Taylor

“Either Blake or Emery is guilty.”

Blake

“Either Taylor or Reese is guilty.”

Emery

“Taylor is innocent.”

Parker

“Either Blake or Reese is guilty.”

Reese

“Neither Taylor nor Emery is guilty.”

Who is guilty?

Solution: Blake

If Blake is guilty, Blake's statement is false and every other statement is true. Testing the other suspects creates at least one contradiction.
