Amira: “The guilty person is either Hugo or Mae.”
Jack: “Amira is innocent.”
Tess: “None of Amira, Tess or Hugo is guilty.”
Hugo: “The guilty person is either Tess or Mae.”
Mae: “Neither Jack nor Mae is guilty.”
Random case Solution: Mae is guilty. Testing each possible culprit leaves this as the only assignment where the culprit's statement is false and all four innocent statements are true.
