Exactly one suspect is guilty. The guilty suspect lies. Every innocent suspect tells the truth.
Sofia: “Max is guilty.”
Max: “Neither Max nor Ezra is guilty.”
Lily: “None of Max, Ezra or Cleo is guilty.”
Ezra: “The guilty person is either Sofia or Ezra.”
Cleo: “The guilty person is one of Sofia, Max or Lily.”
Random case Solution: Sofia is guilty. Testing each possible culprit leaves this as the only assignment where the culprit's statement is false and all four innocent statements are true.
