Max: “Neither Max nor Cleo is guilty.”
Lily: “The guilty person is either Max or Cleo.”
Ezra: “Lily is innocent.”
Cleo: “None of Sofia, Lily or Cleo is guilty.”
Random case Solution: Max is guilty. Testing each possible culprit leaves this as the only assignment where the culprit's statement is false and all four innocent statements are true.
