Max: “The guilty person is either Ezra or Cleo.”
Lily: “Neither Ezra nor Cleo is guilty.”
Ezra: “Neither Lily nor Ezra is guilty.”
Cleo: “Max is guilty.”
Random case Solution: Max is guilty. Testing each possible culprit leaves this as the only assignment where the culprit's statement is false and all four innocent statements are true.
