Exactly one suspect is guilty. The guilty suspect lies. Every innocent suspect tells the truth.
Isla: “The guilty person is either Isla or Cole.”
Sam: “The guilty person is one of Sam, Freya or Cole.”
Freya: “Neither Isla nor Freya is guilty.”
Cole: “None of Sam, Cole or Eva is guilty.”
Eva: “Eva is innocent.”
Random case Solution: Cole is guilty. Testing each possible culprit leaves this as the only assignment where the culprit's statement is false and all four innocent statements are true.
