Amira: “Tess is guilty.”
Jack: “Neither Hugo nor Mae is guilty.”
Tess: “None of Jack, Tess or Hugo is guilty.”
Hugo: “Amira is innocent.”
Mae: “The guilty person is either Jack or Tess.”
Random case Solution: Tess is guilty. Testing each possible culprit leaves this as the only assignment where the culprit's statement is false and all four innocent statements are true.
